Early Years Foundation Stage Intent Statement

In the Early Years, we aim to provide each child with the best possible start to their school journey. Through a calculated balance between child-led learning and adult input, we provide each child the opportunity to develop within their own unique experience, interests and needs.

We break our planning down to meet targeted objectives and provide an environment that allow children to explore, learn and consolidate knowledge and skills.

We aim to truly know each child entrusted to us and help them to successfully navigate through the high expectations of their current learning programme, as well as the National Curriculum which follows. School should be a place of joy and wonder!
